Cozy Craft Room and Studio, Mesa. “Bringing People and Art Together” The brilliant mission of this business emerged post pandemic to unite crafters of all yoke who, for one reason or another, needed this magical ‘room of requirements’ and the community it provides. Please do not for one minute think this place is just a bunch of blue-haired senior ladies sitting in a quilting or knitting circle. However, certainly, quilting and knitting is available if you are craving it. Also on the menu at Cozy Craft Room is beading, scrapbooking, card making, sculpture, painting, calligraphy, journaling and much much more. You can try anything your heart desires without sacrificing home space or a large monetary output of your own. Located on the northwest quadrant of Power and Baseline roads, they are open most days but always check their online calendar before you go. CCR has special events and workshops that may restrict access. Pricing differs for drop-in visits versus memberships. United Escape Rooms, Mesa
Built into a century old mansion, there are challenging rooms for all ages at United Escape Rooms of Mesa, just north of downtown on 86 W. University. Up to six to 10 players a room, prices vary, this safe and comfortable indoor playground is as perfect for date night as it is for corporate team building. It touts itself as the largest escape facility in the world and has levels from novice to difficult. Due to the building’s age, only two escape rooms are wheelchair accessible in Mesa. Another one-and-only for the world is a new high-tech indoor gaming center slash floor-is-lava slash futuristic playground that is as its name suggests: ACTIVE! You can compete against your friends in affordable 60 to 90 minute sessions that will truly tire you out mentally and physically.
